Aske Jacoby is best known for being a guitarist extraordinaire throughout a career stretching over more than four decades. Starting out as founding member of the early 80’s Pop/Rock band News as a 17-year-old kid, he has worked with major Danish artist such as CV Jørgensen, Danseorkestret, Sanne Salomonsen, Thomas Helmig and many more. His work is documented on more than 500 releases, of which he has produced more than 40 releases.
Aske Jacoby has released 9 solo albums, some of them on Giant Birch. His music can be described as Americana from outer space: profound storytelling combined with soulful melodies and elegant musical performance.
